Hi! My name is Kody. I have been working as a motion designer for over 8 years. Throughout that time I've worked in a variety of environments as part of both smaller and larger teams. In any context, I approach the creative process with warmth and a laid-back demeanor. On many projects I have been a one man operation, being the sole creative while also self-managing and self-producing. I have been fortunate to work with great people on projects for companies such as:
Starbucks, Amazon/AWS, Google, Microsoft, T-Mobile, Lumen Technologies, Moto Pizza, SYFY, Weight Watchers, Fifth Third Bank, and many others.
My approach to my work is to create something that is clear, informative, and fun. I've always been a visual learner, and coming from that perspective helps inform how I design and animate to keep messaging and information clear.
In addition to motion design, I'm well-versed in video editing, graphic design, and have some experience in sound design as well. Outside of work I love paddle boarding, camping, going to see practically every movie that comes out, and building LEGO sets that I have no room for. I live in Seattle, WA with my cat Pepper.
